These
companies strive on the word of mouth to publicise their business model amongst
common masses and provide a pathway to create an enterprise on a reasonable
investment. People have the tendency to lookout for opportunities to earn a few
extra bucks to luxuriate their lifestyle. Granted these companies are
formulated to ease the process of marketing but they do not provide fast money
making schemes. In fact companies like Qnet conceptualise their
business propaganda to help people elevate their standard of living by
following certain strategies. Multi-level marketing is formulated on a
hypothesis that is simple and effective.
The competition is humongous as well as cut throat. Executives are swarming
around like sharks waiting for an explosion to hinder an opponent company. To
survive the mayhem is a task in itself but these MLM companies have struggled
but managed to create their identity as a probable stairway to success. These
companies normally deal with products and services to promote the company name
and provide quality assistance. Companies like Qnet have utilised the
conventional plan of sales and imbibed the strategy of network marketing.
Networking is the process of involving people and promoting a product or
services by the word of mouth. Here the salesman and customer are in direct
selling without the involvement of a middleman. The seller hence earns a hefty
commission on every sale that he makes.
With companies like Qnet
the sudden surge in success rate created speculations about its credibility and
the company suffered mass humiliation in terms of company authentication. The
company initially was extremely successful but these attacks affected the
functionality on the whole. The MLM business was being compared to pyramid
marketing which involved recruitment of people without the sales of products.
The allegations made were completely baseless because MLM companies do not
recruit members; in fact they indulge in selling of their company products
where members benefit from the transaction.
The true is not all the MLM companies are fraudulent. There are a few
black sheep who tend to be a roadblock, but the unnecessary rumours have
tainted the image of companies like Qnet.
After a series of downward spiral, the company ultimately investigated the
accusations and on further probe realised that the fault was not in the system
but in the members. A few sections of people did not follow the guidelines of
the business model and made presumptions about its functioning. Since the
latter adopted self-made mechanisms, failure was seen at every step. Thus in
this confusion of plans and strategies, speculations grew. These MLM companies
have not yet put down their forces. They are on a constant effort to reclaim
their identity and rebuilt the foundation. Marketing is not a field for the weak
hearted and these companies and collection their shattered image and
reconstructing it from scratch.
